Dealing with NAT

As much as I love change, I’m hating it this time. In ASA 8.3 and above , Cisco has dramatically changed the look and feel of NAT as we have always known. Although it looks like the changes are done for good, it’s going to take some time to get used to it.

There are various sites and blogs out there comparing the way NAT is done in pre 8.2 and post 8.3. However, the reason for me blogging about this is to actually understand the NAT process because there is more to it than the changes in syntax.

Hopefully, I’ll try to cover all the various NATs that have been used while working on pre 8.2. Keep an eye on https://networkology.net/tag/nat/  ;-)
